Our room was spacious and clean and the linen crisp! The bathroom equally spacious with lovely finishes. The staff were all so pleasant and well presented, breakfast delicious and surroundings warm and welcoming.

We're now safely back in the UK.
On behalf of Robert and myself may I thank you all forgiving us such a wonderful stay in your fair city. The Auberge is quite superb and certainly deserves its five stars. The welcome which we and our fellow Lions tourists received last Thursday morning was so lovely especially after the long journey and the ongoing friendliness from everyone was so sincere. As Rob said when we pitched up again on Tuesday after our safari “its lovely to be home”.
Though at my age I cannot envisage having the opportunity to visit Durban again I know where I’ll stay if I do.
